Where can I get Volluma?

Volluma is available in spas, salons and hair restoration clinics across Canada and the United States. Ask your hair stylist or contact us for more information on product availability.

How do I use Volluma?

Application is easy – just spray Volluma evenly onto thinning hair using several quick bursts until desired results are achieved. Use a gloss hair spray afterwards to finish the application. (See Application Notes for complete directions)

How long does Volluma remain in my hair?

The water resistant properties of the micro fibres keeps Volluma in place until you choose to remove it with multiple applications of any shampoo – or – washing with specially formulated Volluma Shampoo will remove Volluma Hair Thickening Spray in a single application.

Can I play sports while wearing Volluma?

Volluma’s water resistant properties also make it resistant to perspiration – now you can participate in all your favourite sports and sweat it out with no fear and full confidence.

Does Volluma stain fabrics?

Volluma clings firmly to thinning hair but any cosmetic can transfer when rubbed onto fabrics. Be sure to protect clothing and exposed surfaces during application and consider using a darker colored pillow case. Volluma can be removed from fabrics with normal washing.

How long will a can of Volluma last?

One 300 ml can contains enough product for 20-25 applications. depending on the amount used per application and the frequency of use, a single can may last 2 to 3 months.

Can Volluma damage my hair or my hair transplant?

Volluma has been tested and proven safe by hair transplant doctors. It was originally developed to improve the visible results hair transplants.

Does Volluma work on short hair?

Volluma is most effective on hair longer than 25 mm (1 inch) but there must be some hair on the scalp for the microfibers to attach to. Volluma is not for use on bald skin.

Can I use Volluma in combination with other hair products?

Other hair products such as styling waxes and gels can be applied after Volluma is completely dry.

Can I use Volluma after a hair transplant?

Volluma is a great compliment to hair replacement surgery helping improve visible results. It is important that the scalp be completely healed first.

Which color of Volluma should I use?

Simply select the color that most closely matches your hair color, if in doubt, choose a shade darker than you think. For your convenience we use the Hair Stylists color numbering standard. As everyone’s hair is different, see your Hair Stylist for a perfect color match. For hi-lights or a touch of gray, try a multi-color application by applying the darker color first and the lighter color next. (See Application Notes for complete directions)

What is the shelf life for Volluma?

Volluma has no expiry date and will last indefinitely.
